"Welcome to Week 28! Today we are learning about reflection and gratitude. We can help our communities with time, care, skills and sometimes money. Think of a time you had to choose between two things. What did you choose and why? A good money decision starts by asking what we need, what it costs and what might happen next."

Story challenge
Worked thinking model
- Identify the money amount, price or problem in the story.
- Write down what is known and what is missing.
- Compare at least two options.
- Explain your choice in a complete sentence. If numbers are given, show the calculation and check it.
My answer: Write the facts, show any calculation and explain your choice.
Let's play
Role-play the money decision with a partner using pretend money.
Game rules: Work in pairs. Partner A is the decision-maker and Partner B is the friendly challenger. You have three minutes to make a plan, two minutes to explain it, and one minute to swap roles. Award one star for a correct fact, one for clear reasoning and one for kindness.
